SHINE Magazine Release – A Success!

Sunday, September 8^th was truly a night to remember!  It was not simply an event, but a spectacular journey through a plush, magnificent garden filled with reminders of God’s word to us…to thrive!  This past Sunday, we celebrated the official release of the 8^th edition of SHINE!  The evening began with tables flourishing with tasty appetizers and delicious desserts.  The atmosphere was electric with anticipation of the events yet to come.  As everyone moved to into the sanctuary, we gave God all the glory through our praise and worship.  The men then moved to the Pulse center for their own special time with Pastor Adam and special guest, Angelo Petrucci.

For the ladies, SHINE came to life!  We were touched by Peggy McGinn’s chat with God, wowed by beautiful fall fashions, motivated to endure through exercise, encouraged to create wreaths for our homes, and inspired by our very own Harlem Globetrotter, Bridget “Bardo” Turner.  We were also introduced to special guests and contributors to SHINE; Stephanie Riggs (talk show host of KRKS 94.7), specifically, shared a vision of a tulip that seemed to go hand-in-hand with Pastor Gayla’s vision of God’s women thriving and overflowing with His abundance.

This incredible evening was topped off by an intimate concert with Dove Award-Winning Music Artist, Veronica Petrucci.  She had the ladies doing the salsa in their seats, then welcomed in the presence of the Lord with her Latin rendition of “Take Me to the King.”  Veronica’s powerful testimony and anointed vocals penetrated our hearts when she sang, “No Fear.”

We are so thankful for  Gayla’s obedience and passion to bring the vision she received from God to fruition through this event and this newest edition of SHINE!
