What a joyful time we had on Sunday evening as we hosted our annual Word of Life Christmas party! The foyer was filled with dazzling red, white, and silver decorations. From tinsel trees to sleds and Christmas bulbs to snowflakes; the shimmer of holiday color and lights set the atmosphere for this festive night.
Delicious appetizers and desserts, such as baked pesto penne, spinach artichoke flat bread, cake pops, popcorn, truffles, and a delectable pear & raisin cobbler filled everyone with delight. The “hit” of the evening was the tasty caprese skewers that were on a dropper full of basil au jus. No one left hungry, and these goodies were topped off with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and candy canes.
The Word of Life Worship Team led us in beautiful Christmas carols that filled the room with praise, glory and honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our featured musical guests, the incredible duo of Angelo and Veronica Petrucci, shared familiar and new versions of Christmas songs and carols that blessed everyone in attendance. The powerful and anointed voices of Angelo and Veronica welcomed in God’s presence and a joyous celebration filled the sanctuary.
The evening featured eye-catching décor, scrumptious treats, fellowship with our church family, and most importantly a heartwarming and jubilant celebration of Christ’s birth! The event was a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season!
