Fight Like a Girl: Defending Your Title as a Woman of Destiny

You are a mighty woman of God; a woman of power, purpose, and divine destiny! Before you were even born, seeds of destiny were deposited inside of you, promising you a life of fulfillment and significance. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10 KJV).

Like a prize-fighter wearing her championship belt, walking in your destiny declares to the world that you are a beautiful woman of God, called to do great works for His kingdom. Walking in your destiny creates vision—not only for yourself, but for others. Walking in your destiny has the ability to infiltrate darkness, creating a hope and a future, which is promised to us, in Jeremiah 29:11. To sum it up, walking in your destiny transforms you into a spiritually strong daughter of the King—a lean, mean, fighting machine!

For this very reason, your enemy, the devil, would love nothing more than to snatch your destiny from you. He wants you to go through life without a purpose, thus remaining powerless and ineffective for the kingdom. His ultimate desire is to steal your championship belt—“the belt of truth” described in God’s Word (see Ephesians 6:14)—thus stripping you of your God-given title as a “Woman of Destiny.” Defending your title as a “Woman of Destiny” requires great persistence and strength on your part. The Bible tells us, “The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12b NKJV). Are you, as a courageous woman of God, prepared to stand up and fight in order to defend your destiny?

The good news is your heavenly Father has not left you alone in the fight. He has equipped you with highly effective techniques, specially designed to help defend your God-given title as a “Woman of Destiny!” The first thing to remember is that your fighting abilities are not found in the physical, emotional, or mental realms: “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled” (2 Corinthians 10:4-6 NKJV). This scripture confirms that the Bible is your trainer, teaching you every technique needed to effectively defend your title as a mighty woman of God!
