Proverbs 3:13-14

Proverbs 3:13 – “Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding,”(NIV).

Seek wisdom from God in order to live abundantly and overflowing with His blessing. Consider wisdom as a daily life ingredient. It is essential for our families, relationships, health, finances, careers, and so forth. We often think that wisdom comes with age due to the experience gained over time. While this may be true, wisdom is also the ability to make the right choices based on understanding. So how can we seek wisdom? We must begin our quest by praying to God.  Today, read God’s Word to gain an understanding of your purpose on earth.

Proverbs 3:14 – “For she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold” (NIV).

We can measure spiritual profitability by the gain on our investments in God’s Kingdom. When we invest time in our families, we reap healthy and strong family relationships built on a sturdy foundation. When we invest wisdom in our relationships, finances, and careers during a particular amount of time, we will enjoy great relationships and see promotion and an increase in finances and influence. Whatever area of life we choose to apply godly wisdom will yield great results. Today, pray to God to give you direction as you apply wisdom and understanding from His Word.
