Proverbs 3:15– “She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her” (NIV).
Rubies are stones that are precious in value and beauty. They are not easily destroyed, and they are very desirable. In Proverbs 3:15, we compare the precious nature of wisdom to rubies. We should desire wisdom more than any precious stone or jewelry that we possess. As women, we often put our desires on worldly items that are of less importance. When we apply wisdom in our lives, we will then be able to acquire all the things that we desire. Your desire should be to acquire wisdom. Today, allow your heart to seek after spiritual things; when you pursue wisdom, you will find it.
Proverbs 3:16 – “Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor” (NIV).
The Bible teaches us how to obtain long life, true riches, and honor by making wise choices and following God’s commandments. By applying understanding to God’s Word, we have a healthy lifestyle filled with everlasting hope in Him. Our faith in God will help us to produce a long and healthy lifestyle full of grace and favor. Long life, riches, and honor come from our ability to know how to deal with everyday situations. Today, seek guidance from God for long life, riches, and honor through wise choices.
