Proverbs 3:17 – “Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace”(NIV).
In choosing to do the right thing, our ways are pleasant and not always full of surprises. Peace of mind comes from making sound choices and decisions. We should pray to God for perfect peace that only comes from Him. Occasional bumps on the road are inevitable, but the Lord can sustain us to stand when all around us seems chaotic. We should seek for wisdom to lead our ways based on God’s principles and plans. Lord, teach us today to know Your will and direction so we may obtain peace in all we do!
Proverbs 3:18 – “She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed” (NIV).
Imagine wisdom as a tree of life in the summer months with mature branches and leaves that are full of hopes and dreams. As the seasons change, the wisdom tree adjusts to the whether conditions to sustain it. Its roots are deeply engaged in the soil where it obtains nourishment. We should seek for wisdom as we mature in the Lord and allow it help us through the various seasons of our lives. Through wisdom, we will see our lives blessed of God. Today, draw out the type of wisdom tree you would want in your life. On the branches, list all of your hopes and dreams, and watch God bless each area of your life.
