What You Need:
6 cups double-strength brewed coffee*
1 cup organic heavy cream OR 2 cups organic whole milk
1 cup organic cane sugar (or coconut sugar)
1 teaspoon organic vanilla
3 organic cinnamon sticks
* Double up on the coffee grounds needed for 6 cups of regular coffee.
What You Do:
- In the slow cooker, add the hot coffee and sugar. Stir until sugar is almost completely dissolved.
- Slowly add in the cream and/or whole milk in a stream stirring constantly.
- Once everything is blended, add the cinnamon sticks.
- Cook on HIGH for approximately 3 hours. I find different slow cookers heat differently, so you may not need the full 3
- hours or it may start separating.
- Serve lattes in mugs and top with whipped cream, if desired.
- These can also be turned into iced lattes by allowing the liquid to cool and serving over ice.
